CAT & KITTEN FORMULA - The Flint River Ranch Cat & Kitten formula is nutritionally complete and balanced for all stages of
life - plus Taurine Levels according to AAFCO Nutrient Profiles for Feline Foods.
Both Ash & Magnesium levels have been lowered to help reduce the risk of Feline Urological Syndrome (FUS). FSU is a condition created
by an accumulation of fine crystals, called struvite found within the bladder.
It is believed that high Ash or Magnesium contribute to the formation of fine crystals and the onset of FUS.

Essential Taurine
The high quality Chicken Meal provides Taurine, an essential amino acid for cats, at much higher levels than the poultry by-products

Fats
The human grade Fat Source has no Ethoxyquin. It is naturally preserved with Vitamin E. Fats provide energy and include essentials for
cell structure, hormones, enzymes and fat soluble vitamins. Flint River Ranch guarantees not less than 20% crude fat.
Feline Urological Syndrome
There is little doubt that F.U.S. is directly related to the cat's life style and diet. Low Ash and Magnesium are important in
the prevention of F.U.S. Flint River Ranch Feline Formula has less than 4.5% ash content and Magnesium of 0.08%.
This promotes low urinary PH and helps prevent F.U.S.
Flint River's Chicken Meal and other meat sources do not contain poultry by-products or other by-products like chicken heads,
chicken feet, duck heads, beaks, feathers, fish heads, hides, hoofs, and intestines. There is no cottonseed,
citrus pulp, breakfast food by-products, soy beans, fillers and no screening or other foreign materials such as noxious weeds,
straw, hulls or chaff.
